Serdang, 14 August 2025 – The UPM Varsity Inspiration Program 2025, held from 12 to 14 August 2025 at Dewan Kolej Pendeta Za’aba, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully attracted the participation of 200 secondary school students accompanied by 20 teachers from five schools around Kuala Selangor.

The participating schools were SMK Dato' Harun, SMK Seri Desa, SMK Agama Kuala Selangor, SMK Jeram, and SMK Saujana Utama, involving 40 Form 3 students and 160 Form 5 students.

The program, organized by the Student Affairs Division of UPM with the support of the Academic Division, MYSTEM Club, Sultan Abdul Samad Library, Faculty of Agriculture, and Faculty of Engineering, aimed to introduce UPM as a leading institution in academics, research, and innovation to the participants.

Throughout the three days, participants were exposed to various motivational modules, academic briefings, and educational visits designed to inspire and emphasize the importance of pursuing higher education. The presence of 23 experienced facilitators further enlivened the activities through interactive and student-friendly approaches.

This program not only provided an overview of the culture of knowledge at the university but also aimed to cultivate students’ interest in furthering their studies in the future. It also strengthened strategic cooperation between UPM and the participating secondary schools in efforts to nurture a competitive and ambitious young generation.
